NUMBER OF CUSTOMERS EXCEEDED ORANGE ARMENIA’S EXPECTATIONS

In the month and half since entering the market, Orange Armenia has acquired 100,000 customers this number can reach 150,000 by the end of this year. In addition, there are 5,000 customers who’ve signed on to Orange Armenia’s internet services.

On Wednesday, December 16, World Bank Yerevan office hosted a video conference devoted to "2009 Information and Communication Development Program : Broadening Coverage and Intensifying Influence". Apart from WB representatives, conference was also attended by public and private sector representatives from Eastern and Central Asian countries (Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldiva, Russia and Uzbekistan).
